Project 50 Recap (Days 21-30)

Day 21 (Feb 28):

Felt good.

Day 22 (Mar 1):

My 18th B-day countdown just started. Gave myself a rest today.

Day 23 (Mar 2):

Been productive. Disappointed in Firefox.

Day 24 (Mar 3):

Productive. In-car lesson.

Day 25 (Mar 4):

Productive. In-car lesson.

Day 26 (Mar 5):

Productive. Passed the mock G2 test. Waiting for the MTO to certify me as successfully completed the BDE course.

Day 27 (Mar 6):

Less productive. Probably need a day off. Didn't go to gym.

Day 28 (Mar 7):

Witnessed some extreme stubbornness. Had a thought to start a business while organizing my digital notes. Less productive. Didn't go to gym.

Day 29 (Mar 8):

Should I learn MS Excel first or Cursor? Built and started using the self-hosted Standard Notes software. Been great and more productive with it. Thinking of ditching Obsidian for non-research purposes.

Day 30 (Mar 9):

Fully switched to LibreWolf from Firefox since the Firefox debacle. Technical issues are not uncommon in this process. I have learned quite a bit of practical knowledge while overcoming these difficulties, and I have gradually become familiar with the behavior patterns of LibreWolf. This process lasted about a week, and by today, I have fully adapted to LibreWolf. My productivity has not only returned to what it was before but has also improved a bit.

Week 3 Recap (Days 21-30)

Key Developments:

  • Completed three more in-car driving lessons
  • Passed the mock G2 test
  • Successfully set up self-hosted end-to-end encrypted Standard Notes.
  • Fully migrated from Firefox to LibreWolf after a week-long transition
  • Two big steps closer in slowly reclaiming autonomy from the control of large corporations

Ongoing Explorations:

  • Considering a shift from Obsidian for non-research purposes
  • Brief thought about starting a business
  • Birthday countdown initiated (adulting approaches!)

Challenges:

  • Needed some intentional rest days
  • Two consecutive days without gym

Week in Perspective:

Growing confidence in tackling complex changes to daily systems. Despite some less productive days, the overall trajectory remains positive, with practical achievements balanced against personal optimization.
